     The 32nd case is a female patient, she’s 24 years old, she just came back from England on 9/3. She currently tests positive for the new corona virus. This female patient goes out with Vietnam’s 17th patient in London, she hangs out with a group of friends.

     On 10/3, Vietnam’s Ministry of Health confirmed Covid cases – the 19th in Vietnam. This is a 24 year old Vietnamese patient, she is Vietnamese national, she is currently living in London, England.

     On March 2, 2020, the patient developed the disease with symptoms of a dry cough, no fever, went to a hospital in London and she was given outpatient treatment.

     On March 7, 2020 the patient was still coughing a lot, had no fever, and at the same time she heard the information of a friend in Vietnam that she had met in London (the 17th case of Vietnam) infected with Covid-19. , so the patient came back to the clinic and she made a clear history of exposure. The London hospital required isolation at home, they did not perform tests for her. However, when she went home to take the medicine, the symptoms of a dry cough did not subside, but she still did not have a fever.

     Unsafe about health, the patient hired a private jet (WGT2B number) to return to Vietnam and she entered the country at 081515 on 09/3/20 at Tan Son Nhat airport. At this point, the patient’s temperature was measured at 37.5 ° C, she had a dry cough, the patient was immediately transferred to the Da Chien Cu Chi hospital with a special vehicle and she was strictly quarantined.

     Also on the same day, patients were sampled for Covid-19.

     X-rays taken at the time of this patient’s hospitalization showed that she had interstitial pneumonia. Currently, the patient is awake, has a good performance, has a lot of dry cough, has a slight red throat, has no fever, breathes smoothly and can breathe by himself. She was transferred back to isolation at the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City at 8:30 pm on March 9, 2020.

     Samples were taken and transferred to Pasteur Institute in Ho Chi Minh City at 20:00 on 09/3. Test results showed that this girl was positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus, the result was done using realtime RT-PCR.

     Known earlier, on the evening of February 27, 2020 the patient met, attended a party and hung out with Vietnam’s 17th patient in London, joining her as a group of her friends.

     Thus, up to now, Vietnam has recorded 32 cases of Covid – 19, of which 16 cases cured and they were discharged.

     16 new cases recorded only one case from the Deagu epidemic region (South Korea) were found positive in the isolation area, the remaining 15 cases were related to factors from the UK and VN0054 flight from the UK returned to Vietnam, who had close contact with the case returned on the flight.

     Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam said that Vietnam has officially entered the second phase of the war on the prevention and control of Covid-19, which was more difficult than the first phase when the epidemic spread to over 100 countries. The forces must prevent the disease from turning a hundred places instead of a few like before.

     However, Vietnamese authorities anticipate every situation, they have a scenario ready to respond to the situation, even when there are thousands of cases. Therefore, in the coming days if there are dozens or hundreds of infections, it is not surprising.
