     On the evening of March 13, Vietnam’s Ministry of Health announced three more cases of Covid-19, of which two were reported in Hanoi and one reported in Ho Chi Minh City.

     Patient No. 47 is a female patient, she is 43 years old, she lives at Truc Bach, Ba Dinh, Hanoi. This patient is a maid in Patient No. 17’s building, who is in close contact with Patient No. 17.

     On March 5, 2020, after Vietnam discovered patient number 17, the Hanoi Center for Disease Control reviewed and made a list of close contacts of the 17th and 47th patient. investigated epidemiologically, they took the test sample and she was isolated at the Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases 2 on March 6, 2020. Currently the health of this patient is stable.

     Thus, with regard to case 17, there have been 3 cases of secondary infection with this patient, these patients include a private driver, a biological uncle of the 17th patient, a shared patient and a 43-year-old female patient. She is a maid in the building, she has close contact with the 17th patient.

     Patient No. 46 is a flight attendant, she’s 30 years old, she lives at Khuong Trung, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi.

     The 46th patient was a flight attendant on a flight from London to Hanoi on March 9, 2020. On 10/03, the patient had a fever and productive cough, no chest pressure. On March 11, the patient went to the Medical Center for Aviation, then she was transferred to Dong Anh Central Tropical Diseases Hospital, where the patient was isolated and she was sampled for examination. When tested for the first time, she was positive for SARS-CoV-2.

     On 13/03/2020, the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology came to investigate the epidemiological information, they collected samples. Currently, the 46th patient’s health status is stable.

     Thus far, Hanoi has recorded seven cases of Covid-19 since March 6 until now.

     Earlier, on 6/3, Hanoi recorded the first case of Covid-19 (the 17th case of Hanoi), this patient was a young girl, she was from Truc Bach, she came back from England. on 2/3 of flight VN0054 after 15-day trip to Europe. From this patient there were two cases of secondary infection which were her private driver, her uncle who lived in the same house as her.

     Next, patient No. 21 (also in Truc Bach Street, Hanoi) was the one sitting near the row on the plane with this case 17, which was also confirmed to be Covid-19.

     In addition, a tour guide in Cau Giay district who had close contact with British tourists positive for new corona virus on a flight with a Hanoi girl was also identified as having Covid-19, in this case. is the fifth case of Hanoi and this patient is also the 39th case in Vietnam.

     The 6th case in Hanoi is a maid, she has close contact with patient 17.

     The seventh case in Hanoi is the flight attendant returning to Vietnam, who also took a flight on VN0054 on March 9.

     Facing new developments related to the COVID19 epidemic, Mr. Nguyen Duc Chung, President of Hanoi City, instructed the departments and districts to have a stronger solution to review related people on two flights VN0054. of Vietnam Airlines from UK to Vietnam on 2/3 and 9/3.

     On 12/3/2020, this patient showed a stuffy nose and sore throat, so he went to see him and he was isolated in isolation in Tan Binh district, then he was taken to the concentrated treatment area in Cu Chi field hospital by strictly isolated specialized vehicles. Currently this patient’s health is stable.

     The first test result of the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City on the night of March 12, 2020 showed that the patient was positive for SARS-CoV-2. Samples were transferred to Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City on March 13, 2020. In the afternoon of 13/3/2020, the 45th patient was positive for SARS-CoV-2 by realtime RT-PCR.

     Thus far, Vietnam has recorded 47 cases of Covid-19, of which 16 cases have been cured and have been discharged.

     From March 6, Vietnam has recorded 31 new cases. Regarding the 34 case in Binh Thuan, 9 cases have been confirmed to this patient, of which 7 cases were directly infected and 2 cases were infected to F2.
