On the evening of March 21, two more cases of Covid-19 were confirmed, bringing the total number of cases in Vietnam to 94 cases. Both new cases were in Hanoi, who recently returned to Vietnam from abroad.
Case 93 is a male patient, he is 20 years old, he has Vietnamese nationality, he lives in Dong Da area, Hanoi city. This patient is a student studying in Hungary, he entered through Noi Bai airport on March 18, 2020.
The screening results of the Hanoi Center for Disease Control noted he was positive for COVID19 on 20/20/2020.
On March 19, 2020, the Hanoi Center for Disease Control sent his sample. On March 20, 2020, his sample was rushed to the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, and this afternoon, the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology announced the test results, they confirmed that he was positive for SARS. -CoV-2.
Currently this patient is isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, he has a stable health condition.
Case 94 is a female patient, she is 64 years old, she has Vietnamese nationality, she lives in Bac Giang city. This patient visits the Czech Republic to visit her daughter from February 29, 2020 to March 17, 2020.
This patient returned home from Noi Bai International Airport on March 18, 2020 on the same flight (SU290, seat 28A) with patient number 93 positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus (SU290, seat 27B).
Screening results of the Hanoi Center for Disease Control noted that 94 of these patients were positive for SARS-CoV-2 on 20/20/2020.
The Hanoi Center for Disease Control takes samples and sends samples to the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology on March 20, 2020; Today test results confirm that this patient is positive for SARS-CoV-2.
At present, this patient is being isolated and treated at Dong Anh Central Tropical Diseases Hospital, currently, his condition is stable.
Thus, up to date Vietnam recorded 94 cases of Covid-19, of which 17 cases were cured. 78 new cases have been recorded since 6/3 up to now, they are being treated at health facilities, including two cases of severe changes.
